Student Leaders Gathering (SLG)

A special gathering that brought together all student leaders across the campus. this event was designed to foster networking and collaboration among the various student societies within IIUM Pagoh, creating a close-knit student community. The gathering provided an opportunity for student leaders to be reintroduced to IIUMSU Pagoh and to learn more about the Board of President initiative, ALMANAC, launched by IIUMSU Pagoh.
This initiative was designed to coordinate leadership efforts and enhance the effectiveness of student governance. The event stood as a major step towards building a live and vibrant student community, offering both connection and leadership development for participants.
LeGo: LET'S GO HOME
A transportation service designed to make travel easier and more affordable for students. LeGo offers a direct shuttle from Mahallah Zaid Bin Harithah to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), eliminating the need for a detour to the Muar bus station.
By offering a direct shuttle, the service helps students cut costs associated with frequent travel. This is particularly beneficial during peak travel times such as holidays and exam periods when travel demands are high, and the need for a reliable and affordable transportation option is critical.

Mahallah Week, the ultimate kickoff bash by the MRC of Mahallah Zaid bin Harithah, isn't just a mere event – it's a game-changer for IIUMSU! Clubs and societies unleash their awesomeness at vibrant booths, turning the campus into a carnival.
New students aren't just welcomed; they're thrown into the coolest intro ever! Exploring IIUMSU's vibe through interactive games is like unlocking a fun treasure map. Mahallah Week isn't just an event; it's a laughter-packed, enthusiasm-filled rollercoaster that kickstarts the semester on a high note.
YUK SARAP!
STARTING ON 3 JAN
A heartwarming initiative to ensure that every student starts their day with a nutritious meal. Starting from January 3, 2024, and continuing every Sunday until the end of the semester, Yuk Sarap will provide free breakfast to all students.
This program is made possible through the generous spirit of the community and a crowdfunding initiative with a target amount of RM600. The IIUM Student Union Pagoh is reaching out to students, alumni, and supporters to contribute to this noble cause.
CAREER WEEK
2 - 4 JAN 2024
A career-oriented program that are held to help students of IIUM Pagoh to know the right way to pursue their career. This event also can give inspiration to students when looking for what they want to be once they graduated.
Organisers of the event decide to collaboration with Office of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Relations of IIUMSU. IIUMSU has been collaborating with organisers of the event and make a booth for IIUMSU during the program.
KSTCL SOLIDARITY NIGHT

KSTCL Solidarity Night is a program with aims to cultivate students regarding recent issues in Palestine. All of the participants march together in order to show their solidarity towards Palestine.
Solidarity Night really give platform to students to show their anger and empathy towards Palestine incidents. Besides, students gain new knowledge and new point of view regarding this issue. This program end with a lot of satisfaction from students.
MUBARAK JOURNEY
IN RAMADHAN
In honour of the sacred month of Ramadan, the IIUM Student Union (IIUMSU) has organised a series of programs dedicated to nurturing students’ spiritual growth by promoting the sharing of blessings and tranquillity. These initiatives were crafted with the intention of cultivating a deeper connection to faith by fostering an atmosphere of communal harmony and spiritual reflection.
V-KHAYR
9 MARCH 2024
A community engagement program was held during the holy month of Ramadan. As part of this initiative, students were encouraged to participate in a cleanup
effort at a mosque. This activity was designed not only to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of these sacred spaces but also to motivate students to increase their good deeds.
By involving them in such a meaningful but also hands-on experience, the program aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and community service, emphasizing the importance of preserving the sanctity and purity of their religious environment.
KHAYR CIRCLE
10 - 31 MARCH 2024
This initiative was organised in collaboration with Harmoni IIUM Pagoh and IIUM Pagoh PEERS. Through this program, students had the chance to form new friendships and engage in sharing sessions, creating a sense of community and support.
Additionally, participants were given opportunities to enhance their Quranic skills, catering to both beginners and amateurs. By providing a platform for personal and spiritual growth, the Khayr Circle aimed to enrich the students’ Ramadan experience, encouraging them to reflect on and improve their daily practices in a supportive and nurturing environment.
ILHAM RAMAWAL
DURING RAMADHAN
An initiative named “Ilham Ramawal” was launched during Ramadan, with the aim of distributing 50 financial kits to B40 students. The initiative sought to provide these students with essential resources during the holy month, ensuring they have the necessary support to observe Ramadan with dignity.
Special appreciation goes to YB Muhyiddin Yassin for his generous contribution to this cause. His support made it possible to include essential food items in the financial kits, further enhancing their impact.
IFTAR @ KSTCL

The final event organised by IIUMSU during the holy month of Ramadan was an Iftar, simply known as “Iftar@KSTCL” . This memorable occasion welcomed students from all walks of life, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and unity. As the evening unfolded, laughter and heartfelt conversations filled the air, accompanied by the aroma of delicious food shared among friends.
Dressed in their finest attire, students embraced the opportunity to come together and revel in the blessings of Ramadan. It was a beautiful evening of connection and community, highlighting the values of togetherness and gratitude
that are central to Ramadan.
UNION FEST
20, 25-27 APRIL 2024
Before stepping down from the 2023/2024 tenure of IIUM Students Union (IIUMSU), the Office of Communication, Advocacy and Promotion (OCAP) was entrusted to organize the last program of the tenure, known as “Union Fest” together with the collaborations from Office of Treasurer (OOT), Office of Secretary (OOS), Office of Welfare (OOW) and Entrepreneurship and Corporate Relations (ENCORP), in which each offices has come up with different sub-programs. Union Fest was conducted for overall 4 days in conjunction with classic Malaysian as its theme.
EXCEL WORKSHOP
20 APRIL 2024
OOS organized the first sub-program, “Excel Workshop” in which this workshop aimed to expose the participants to various Microsoft Excel-related skills. This workshop was handled by Mr Kelvin Ng Choo Kent, an expert in the field through 5 slots starting from 8.30am until 3.30pm at KSTCL.
All in all, the programme was deemed as successful as participants were able to gain more knowledge regarding the utilization of Microsoft Excel such as working with data and information analysis, which will be beneficial for their career growth in the future.
PASAR SENDALOKA
25-27 APRIL 2024
At 6.00pm, the commencement of “Pasar Sendaloka” started to take place beside the cafe, in which 9 vendors consisting of food, drinks, and clothes were invited by OOT to enhance the diversity of the event as the phrase goes, “Where there is food, there is love”.
Next, at 7.45pm, “Heal and Hear” by OOW began in SAR 1, in which the program acted as a platform for the participants to express themselves as the term “welfare” catered to both physical and mental health of the students. The first day of Union Fest ended at 11.00pm.
SEMBANG UNION
A subprogram known as “Sembang Union'' was executed by OCAP, in which this program intended to serve as a communication platform for the 7 officers of IIUMSU to share their achievements with the student in order to increase their understanding regarding the foundation of IIUMSU, which was in conjunction with the ongoing 2024 IIUMSU election period.
Taking over the forum-based style, together with two emcees, the officers shared their achievements within their own departments and managed a question and answering session starting at 4.00pm until 5.45pm at the cafe.
